Ukulele Nights will be strutting their stuff in the grounds of Caerphilly Castle at The Big Sustrans Party organized by Cardiff Arts Institute. We start at 1.45 p.m. (players arrive for 1 p.m. please).

A warning to all cyclists: I have been informed by the Gwdihw staff that there have been numerous bike thefts in this area. Please ensure that your bike is securely locked. As usual spare ukes will be available.

There ain’t room in this town for both of us. Eve has splendidly organized a joint night with the Cardiff Keyboard Society. The event is a cowboy-themed ukulele-keyboard shoot out at the Fairwater Conservative Club. Stetsons and chaps are de rigeur. Start 8 p.m. Rest assured that our instrument cases are more sinister.
