More details

You can buy a ukulele in a music shop for under £20, but spare instruments are available to borrow at the jam sessions.

If you're feeling brave, you can pick up the basic chords at a jam night - if you have a kazoo, bring that too.

Absolute beginners might prefer to start with the occasional workshops at venues including the Milkwood Gallery in Roath - see our Facebook page for details.
